Exercise: Leg Raises
Objective: Improve stability of the low back, abdominal, and pelvic musculature.
Description: Sit up straight on a therapy ball. Keep your feet spread apart about shoulder's width for stability on the ball.
- Step One: Raise your right leg, with your knee bent.
- Step Two: Hold this position for 5-10 seconds, then return your foot to the ground.
- Step Three: Raise your left leg, with your knee bent. repeat 5-10 times.
- Step Four: Hold this position for 5-10 seconds, then return your foot to the ground.
- Step Five: Repeat 5-10 times.
