The Saunders Lumbar Traction Device applies force via a hand-held pump, which causes the lower half of the device to glide over a friction-free surface. Because the lower half of the body moves with the table, the traction force is highly efficient, less pressure is transmitted through the pelvic belts, and the traction force is concentrated just where itīs needed.
